Welcome to the brand new Cloud Dance website.

Founded in January 2007, Cloud Dance is a London-based part-time contemporary dance company enabling dancers at varying stages in their careers to continue dancing, performing, and developing their dance skills independently of their non-dance careers and other commitments.

Our dancers come from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities (spanning six continents to date), which we hope to exploit with forging overseas links and touring.

Our first season ended on 31 March, with a performance at Sadler’s Wells as part of the Open Connect festival, and our second season finished with a showcase night with seven other emerging companies and choreographers, at Chisenhale Dance Space on 24 June.

Since then, we have offered student placements to 13 second- and final-year dance students, and have worked on a further five new pieces, with further showcases held at Siobhan Davies Dance Studios and the Synergy Centre.

Our forthcoming season is due to start in early April, and our next performances will be held at The Courtyard Theatre on 5 & 6 July; further details are available on the Cloud Dance Festival website .
