Chantal Guevara (Mexican / German) Wan-Chen Chang Wan-Chen was a member of Cloud Dance in 2007. Her obituary can be read here .
Wan-Chen started to dance at age of seven. She was a member of Lyn-Yong Dance Company for 5 years. During her time in the company, she performed nationally and toured to Italy, Spain and Germany.
Eddie started dancing at an early age and has trained in various forms of dance, including jazz, ballet, tap and contemporary. In 2002/2003, she took a year out from her studies to work as a professional dancer. She performed as a dancer in the "WoW" show in Eilat, Israel and then did a summer season in Crete, Greece with Premiere Productions as a dancer and singer. Prior to that, she performed in and choreographed for various dance and musical productions at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London, including the 2001 production of Sweet Charity. After her adventures abroad, Eddie returned to England to qualify as a solicitor, however, she still continues to take regular jazz and contemporary classes alongside being involved in Cloud Dance.
Holly graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2005, and has since built a career in teaching dance to children. Holly left Cloud Dance following Spoke due to scheduling problems; we wish her all the best and hope to see her again soon.
Laryssa recently moved to the UK from Southern California where she double majored in Modern Dance and Advertising at Chapman University. She has been involved in many concerts and modern dance companies the past four years ... and has been dancing all in all for the past 14 years!
Claudia Palazzo Claudia joined Cloud Dance in Summer 2007, after completing the Diploma course at Laban; she then went on to study Circus Skills at Circomedia in Bristol, but returned to London in Spring 2008, whereupon she immediately rejoined Cloud Dance. Becca Goor Becca has recently graduated from Laban, and is extensively involved with the marketing and publicity for Cloud Dance and Cloud Dance Festival. Becca has an extensive knowledge of many contemporary techniques including Release based, Graham, Horton, Cunningham, Physical theatre, contact and improvisation, as well as experience within classical and Cecchetti Ballet. She has also attented workshops given by Henri Oguike Dance Company, Bonachela Dance Company, Random Dance Company and Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company. Last summer, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, New York. She is interested in working creatively within task based work but also feels that she thrives on being given specific direction when needed. Lina Petterson
Lina began her dance training in Sweden and continued her studies at
Laban, London. After she finished, she remained London-based & has
taken part in various projects, ranging from baroque dance and short
film to installations. Anna Lamonica
Anna Lamonica grew up in Seattle, and started dancing when she was 7. She graduated from Chapman University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance performance and a minor in Communications. Throughout her 4 years at Chapman she had a lot of experience of performance, teaching and choreographing.
